Shiloh is 22 years old and homeless. He has been homeless for the last 8 years. His parents, unable to care consistently, neglected him and threw him out when he was just 13. Frightened, he hid from the authorities when they searched for him. He never finished his education. He looked after himself, moved around the country, developed survival skills, learnt some circus skills to support himself through street performances. He has been sleepong rough for a very long time, most recently in central London. Shiloh has registered with a number of charities but has not managed to get housing.

Last week, when a homeless companion in South Bank was being attacked by three men, Shiloh intervened and got beaten up. He suffered cracked ribs and fingers, and cuts to his face. By chance we got involved and helped him. Shiloh is a charming, talented and proud young man who loves music, is great at beatboxing and fire performance. He is confident and engages with people really well. He is interested in performance arts and would like to go back to school to do GCSEs and get other qualifications. He wants to work, and find somewhere to live. Eventually, he would love to work with people in a caring capacity. But he is homeless. All he has is a c/o address to one of the homeless charities and his insurance number. His abusive parents destroyed his birth certificate and passport.

Shiloh needs help. He has fallen through all the safety nets: no education, no foster care before he was 18, no medical intervention when ill or depressed, no support networks of any kind. We want to help Shiloh stand on his two feet. We want to raise some money to help pay to get his birth certificate, his passport; to open a bank account, help with deposit for rented accomodation, getting new shoes, and meeting some other basic needs.
