The vaccine volunteers are working long, hard hours, giving up their time and energy for free to safeguard our community from Covid-19. The Boathouse Cafe is supporting the vaccine volunteers based at Westpoint by providing hot drinks, soups and cakes from our new mobile catering unit. We are setting up an initiative whereby the local community can show their support and gratitude for the vaccine heroes by donating to ‘buy‘ the volunteers a hot drink or cake to sustain them through their long shifts. Donations will be exchanged for food and drink vouchers which the volunteers can use for a treat from the catering unit. This will help boost morale and show our appreciation for the volunteers giving up their free time to help us through the vacination process. We hope that a small gesture from everyone in the community will make a big difference to those working for free to protect us from Coronavirus. Thank you for your support.
