Faithless Hijabi was established in October 2018 and since we’ve helped hundreds of women to engage with us from all over the world. As it stands, those who leave the religion of Islam are often ostracised by their families, any form of dissent has the possibility of inciting violence.

Leaving or questioning a faith can be a very complicated process, and nowhere is this more the case than in Islam. ExMuslims for safety reasons are often closeted for fear of facing ostracism and abandonment from their families, imprisoned by their governments, or in the most extreme cases, executed for blasphemy and apostasy.

These funding pot will work towards contributing to supporting ExMuslims at risk for their:

Food and Accommodation

Legal Fees when required

Transportation

And other immediate needs that are imperative to their survival.

Some of your funding will also be contributed to keeping Faithless Hijabi standing (a very small contribution to help maintain our tech, no volunteers or staff benefit from this)
