The Kings Primary School in Eastern Uganda, was founded to provide an education for mainly orphaned children to raise them out of the poverty they are born into. It currently employs around 14 teaching staff from Uganda who educate the children to the Ugandan Curriculum but employing British Standards of building and education. This formula has given the children the best education in the whole district and is well endorsed by the Ugandan Government.
The children are also fed well every day and a fresh water bore hole has eliminated water borne diseases for the whole village of Bunambutye.
Our vision is to sustain what we have provided and in time we would love to provide a Secondary education as well, dependent on the amount of funding our donors provide. Our aim is to provide Uganda with a future people well educated that will change the country and raise Eastern Uganda into health and prosperity.

The School grows its own food for the children as well as collecting maize contributions from parents to provide the meals for the children every day. We have built a kitchen and provided cooks to ensure that children have good nutrition to assist their learning. The school sits national examinations and all results are overseen by the Ugandan government so that everything conforms to national standards.

EZRA UK, the school's providing charity has UK and Ugandan Trustees to oversee the welfare of the Kings Primary School. All Trustees visit Uganda at their own cost and nothing is taken from funds so that all donations go direct to the provision of education, food provision and the schools upkeep.

Children are given a uniform to ensure that no pupil feels lesser than another. This gives the children more confidence and makes our children easy to identify for safety reasons.
