Story
Real jobs Falkirk is an amazing project that The Action Group have delivered for 10 years for young people with support needs. Our funding is ending and we need your help.
The project allows these young people to have a vision of being a worker, an employee, just like anyone else. Being able to work is something most of us take for granted. But young people with support needs require the right support to know that this can be their future.
Real Jobs Falkirk ensures these young people get a work placement while at school, a right that every young person in Scotland should have. They help young people to think about work; decide what they want to do in the world of work and then help them get a job, do voluntary work, or attend college to help towards getting a job.
Sadly after 10 years our funding will end at the end of March 2020. This is devastating for the current young people we work with and those who will not be supported in the future.
When only 7% of people with learning disabilities work in Scotland, this vital project can no longer help to improve this shocking statistic; a statistic that Scotland should not be proud of.
We need your help.
We are fundraising just £48k to keep the project running for another year.
Save Real Jobs Falkirk so we can keep making such a huge difference to young people with support needs. Access to employment is a human right we want these young people to have. Your support makes this human right a reality.
Thank you

So proud to see my nephew in this video being given the opportunity and confidence to develop his skills in the work place by such a fantastic charitable organisation. Funding removal is shocking.
