The Falkland Islands Fire and Rescue Service on the 18th August 2018 are taking part in a charity car washing event to raise funds for two of our colleagues families.

Unfortunately two of our Firefighters are needing to travel overseas to accompany their young son's in order to receive medical treatment not available here in the Falkland Islands.

One family is already in Chile with their son, and the other family are awaiting a flight to the United Kingdom.

Although flights and medical expenses are covered, these funds will go a long way to helping our Firefighters & their families with accommodation and general living costs while supporting their children.
