On the 15th Septemeber, FamilyHousing Association Wales along with one of our maintenance contractors ASW property services Limited will be attempting a 60 mile cycle ride. A Team of around 15 riders will be raising money for two charities, Cariad Defibs and Dementia UK.

Cariad Provides our communities across South Wales with Defibrillators and training. Dementia UK provides people living with Dementia and their families vital support through their specialist admiral nurse service and helpline.

The team will be setting off at 08:00am from Hazel Court, Family Housing's extra care scheme located in Sketty Park, Swansea and making their way to Bro Proseli in Crymych which is another extra care scheme based in West Wales. The route is just over 60 miles and willbe completed in one day cycling through some beautiful parts of Wales.

The riders have started their training for this event which has encouraged many employees getting back on their bikes for the first time since childhood. Family Housing has a Gold Corporate health standard for its health and wellbeing of staff.
