We live in a society where negativity seems to be headline news. Where stories of violence and indifference to others take preference over compassion and kindness. Yet, in a small corner of the world at Woolly Park Farm, Carole and her team are enlightened and encouraged on a daily basis by the growth in support for what they do, the heightened awareness of the sanctuary and the continual heart melting messages and love they receive for the rescued farm animals living in their care.

The treatment of other living beings for profit and gain has to be one of the greatest immoralities of this century, however, we know through the power social media has given to the masses, many are waking up to the evil truths behind the food industry and taking action through a change in their diets, signing petitions and protests. We also know, because of the increase in rescues, saving animals from the torrid lives they are being forced to live, or the slaughter they would have to face, sometimes at less than three months old.

Farm Animal Rescue Sanctuary is self-funding and can only survive with our help. Carole and the team want to help save as many lives as they can, but to do this, the sanctuary needs more living quarters. The phone rings constantly with regard to an animal, or animals in distress, or in need of a home and unfortunately they have to turn some requests down, because the sanctuary does not have the appropriate facilities.

We can help to change this. The sanctuary needs more paddocks to house rescued animals such as pigs and goats, and is also in need of an enclosed area with a pond to house ducks too, which is why I have kick started this crowdfunding campaign.
