I will be running the Lincoln 10K on Sunday 2nd April 2017 to raise as many funds as possible. So I will need all the support I can get!!

The children's wards at Lincoln County Hospital are in desperate need of a revamp. A study of children and adolescents in hospital has shown that a stimulating environment contributes hugely towards their recovery. A Senior Paedatrician at the hospital has identified that money is needed to do the following:

• Fish tanks on wards - they have already got one in place on one ward, and it has already proved to be a huge success and is much loved by the children on the ward. Maintenance is provided by a local aquarium company but there is an on-going cost. They’d like to put another tank on another ward.

• A Teenage area - there is a room available but it needs to be revamped and furnished in a style that would be appreciated by teenagers.

• Bereavement centre - no need to explain what this is for but it could do with some money to make it more comforting.

• Outdoor Play Area - work started on this but has had to stop as the hospital cannot find a local artist willing to commit the time and effort to complete it.

Please give generously as if ever there was a worthy cause, it's this one xxx
