Story
Dear friends,
Our close friends Roxana and Leonidas had a baby boy a few weeks ago. He was born in Thessaloniki, premature and extremely fragile with a very sensitive gut. He has undergone one major surgery already to remove a part of his gut and is he is recovering slowly but steadily. He is such a little fighter!
He is in need of intensive care for the next few months and his little belly can only digest a specific type of medical milk that unfortunately costs a fortune in Greece! The state healthcare system cannot provide this milk for free so please help us raise some money for this baby boy to support him in his first few months. It's only until he gets a bit stronger and can go back to breastfeeding!
1 pack of milk costs 50 euros and can feed him only for 3-4 days. We don't know exactly how long he would need to feed on that milk, probably 6-8 months, so we are currently raising £4000 to help him and his parents with the cost of his care.
Any donations are welcome, we would be eternally grateful to all of you! And we promise to update you with photos of his progress!
Thank you for your generosity,
Fay & Vicky Markopoulou
