I will be doing a sponsored climb of Mount Snowden on 18th August, something I have done before only this time it will be with family members and friends in memory of my beautiful father, who sadly left us in January and I miss so so much. An opportunity for me to challenge the grief in a positive way, which dad would be proud of me doing so.
The money raised will be to fund water pumps in villages poverty struck in Kashmir. These villages were close to fathers heart as he was born in Kashmir, and would do what he could to help in anyway. Currently the villages lack in clean water supply, which as we know is a vital necessity and by providing the water pumps at a cost of approximately £200 each.
It will be ongoing charity in name of my dad for the villagers to have fresh water available, and to have my father's memory living on.
