Eighteen Fechan Flyers will be completing the 102 mile overnight Riding To The Sun cycle event in memory of the late Alan Lamont and Brian Wellburn. Two great members of our club; taken from us far too soon.

This is an epic overnight cycle from Carlisle to Edinburgh passing through the historic town of Moffat and then on to the mighty 6 mile climb up the famous Beeftub. Starting in Carlisle at 7pm on Saturday 23 June then arriving (hopefully) at Crammond Shore Edinburgh at 4am on Sunday.

If you can spare a wee donation we would be extremely grateful. Your support will be very much appreciated and the more we raise the more motivated we will be to complete this event.

All riders are self financed and do not need to use donated funding to take part in the event.

All money raised will be equally split between two local groups who support people and their families affected by either cancer or mental health illnesses. Both of these groups provided much needed practical, emotional and counselling support to the families of our friends. The funds will allow them to continue to support many others in need.

Also if you are available on Saturday 23 June to come to Bitts Park, Carlisle @7pm to cheer us off or on route through Gretna, Ecclefechan, Lockerbie or Moffat to give us a wave we would love to see you.
