    Story

Feed Manchester is a non profit voluntary organisation.

Launched in November 2015 we raise awareness, take action to reduce poverty and improve human life.

Since our launch we have helped hundreds of homeless people in various aspects of their lives, and this next step is a huge push in what we know will help so many more.

Currently we operate weekly Food Runs where teams of volunteers take to the streets of Manchester with hot meals, snack packs, toiletries and other items crucial to the survival of those who have to live outdoors. This has been our ongoing project since our launch and to date we have handed out over 20,000 hot meals, we are constantly on the look out for volunteers and donations to assist us in helping as many people as we can.

We now have a fully operable food trailer, having this trailer means we can offer hot and cold nutritious meals and drinks to even more people across the city but more importantly we can operate at various times of the day and will not be restricted on how far we can reach, meaning we can now serve breakfast and lunch as well as an evening meal anywhere in Greater Manchester.

Your donation will help us to maintain the upkeep of trailer on a daily basis, everything from purchasing the actual food to making sure we keep up to health and safety standards with cleaning products. You will be able to see first hand just how far your donation goes, either by coming down to wherever we are at any particular time or by following our social media pages as we document this new chapter from the very start with videos and pictures.
