Brothers & sisters with Ramadan being less than 99 days away; we would like to announce that we have officially lunched our “Feed The Fasting” campaign for 2017. Alhamdulillah last year we managed to raise our target amount which was £1,800 in 30 days, enough to feed 30 family for the whole month of Ramadan. This year we have set ourselves a bigger and ambitious target of £6,500!

The money will be used to feed 100 families for the whole month of Ramadan and pay JustGivings fees (£60 (per food pack for each family) x 100 = £6,000 + £500 to cover all of JustGivings fees).

By donating, you can ensure that some of the world's poorest people receive a nourishing iftaar and suhoor meal for each day of Ramadan.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whoever feeds a fasting person will have reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward." (Tirmidhi)

Remember no donation is too small when you do it for the sake of Allah (ﷻ)!

The Ramadan food packs will be distributed by Muslim Aid to families in some of the world’s poorest countries including those in Palestine, South Africa, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iraq and Syria.
