My Best Friends Mother Denise, is terminally ill with Motor Neurone Disease. Denise and her husband Graham are like second parents to myself and have been in my life for many years. It is heart breaking to watch such a lovely family struggle in a time of need.

Graham and Denise have worked all of their lives, raised two gorgeous daughters and given back to society in many ways. I am asking for you all to give something back to Denise and Graham at this difficult chapter in their lives.

Through this cruel illness they have lost everything they have worked so hard for. Graham had to give up employment to care for Denise 24/7 and they sadly lost their family home being forced to sell to accommodate Denise's needs and also for financial reasons. Graham and Denise are very proud people and don't ask for a lot of help and support. The help they do receive is minimal with Graham taking on the main caring role for Denise.

Graham, now of a mature age shall we say claims state pension, which disgustingly means he is no longer entitled to claim carers allowance for caring for his wife. Denise receives minimal PIP (personal income payment) and this is all they receive to live, pay bills and enjoy life. They struggle day to day.

Denise deserves some stress free happiness in her life as sadly as aforementioned she is terminally ill. Her days are spent mainly in bed at home with the couple not having enough time and money to accommodate a social life.

I think it would be wonderful if we could give this exceptional couple some stress free months where they needn't worry about money and paying bills and maybe some money to enjoy days out together as a couple.

Please give as little or as much as you can afford for this wonderful family going through the most heart breaking of times in their life.
