    Story

Fibromyalgia Friends Together Leicestershire, was set-up in 2015 to raise awareness of Fibromyalgia and to campaign to get better support from local NHS services providers. We also support sufferers through our monthly group meetings, telephone support line and through Facebook. We now need to raise money to support our activity. The amazing Trevor and Pat Jordan (who herself suffers from Fibromyalgia), have both decided to step up to this fund raising challenge! On 10th July from 10.30am Trevor is going to do a sponsored 40 length swim and Pat is going to do 1 hour of aqua aerobics at Whitwick Hermitage Leisure Centre, Leicestershire.

Mark Farmer, Chairman of the Group said,

Trevor and Pat are truly inspirational. They are going to push hard to raise much needed funds. There are an estimated 55,000 sufferers of the condition in Leicestershire who need our support. All donations to our cause no matter how large or small are most welcome and will make a difference to our work.

Please use this page to sponsor them. WE HAVE already raised over £110 in cash donations!

Well Trevor Jordan and Pat Jordan have gone and done it! Yes, Trevor swam over his 40 length goal and Pat did another one hour of aqua aerobics of top of the planned one hour, wow. Thanks to their amazing effort we have raised nearly £300!!!! There is still time to make a donation, we are going to use the money to fund awareness raising of Fibromyalgia and to help support Fibromyalgia suffers and their carers. We are also going to use your donations to fight to get NHS support for us sufferers. A picture them after their efforts:
