Fircroft Hairdressing have decided to create a fundraising project for our local community and shopping parade. Our neighbourhood is used by hundreds of people a day, as well as integral to thousands of surrounding houses. We believe it would be a great idea to raise money for a defibrillator, this would be a essential addition to our neighbourhood and potential lifesaver.

What is a defibrillator?

A defibrillator is an advanced medical tool that delivers a high energy, electric shock to the heart through the chest wall. It is essential life saving tool for someone who is suffering a cardiac arrest. Using a defibrillator within 3-5 minutes of a cardiac arrest can increase chances of survival from 6% to 74%

What we are hoping to do

We are looking to raise £2000. This would be to cover the cost of the defibrillator, a locked cabinet and installation of the defibrillator near the Amazon lockers at the Fircroft Road shopping parade.
