    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

A group of 5 colleagues are undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon (the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales) in a 24 hour period, starting on Saturday 8th September.

We are doing this as part of the wider MBDA Charity Challenge scheme, with this year's nominated charities being:
    - It's in the Bag (A testicular cancer support charity)
    - Jigsaw Thornbury (a group set up to support families with children and young people with any additional needs)

    The team is:
    Tom ‘TBASS’ Bassett
    Graham ‘Robocop’ Emerson
    Dave ‘Kingsman’ Green
    Greg ‘The Baker’ Meadway
    Pete ‘Who needs training?’ Nannini
    Martin ‘9 Points’ Miller (driver)

So we completed our training weekend, with only a few minor mishaps and a couple of blisters. Friday afternoon saw us complete a loop that included ascending Pen y Fan, Fan y Big, Cribbyn and Corn Du. After a night in the local YHA, an early alarm call on Saturday morning then saw us embark on a slightly less strenuous walk, but we still managed to return to the summit of Fan y Big. All in all, a successful couple of days that leaves us feeling optimistic for the real challenge.
