SUPPORT OUR FILM
Hi!
We, Laura Kloss (writer/director) and Carmen De Witt (producer), need your help to raise funds for our new short film ‘Fledgling’. We are at a critical time in our fundraising. We have raised enough for a basic film, but we need to raise more to afford the best kit, locations, props and post production available and make the best film we can.
We are passionate about making the film and we hope that we can find like minded supporters for the project. Laura wrote the film in order to look back on and understand the assault of one of her friends as a teenager. Through its main protagonists, Jessica and Saf both 15 years old, the film explores the reasons that young people take risks to discover new things and the potential for these risks turning into something very dangerous.
"Help us raise £5,000 and support the film ‘Fledgling’ and our wonderful cast and crew (including a trio of yellow canaries!)"
We have a highly talented, experienced and motivated crew attached to the project. The two lead roles have been filled by Robyn Sinclair, currently on stage with the Oxford Shakespeare Company and Sophie Ablett star of the recent stage adaptation of ‘The Railway Children’ and the TV series ‘Taboo’. We also have the fantastically talented DOP, Angela Zoe Neil on board.
