Helping during a tough year

The Coronavirus pandemic has affected the UK in many ways, but none more drastically than the sharp increase in families in poverty. Between April and June 2020, 100,000 people used foodbanks for the first time. This is expected to rise to 670,000 people by December this year after the end of the furlough scheme.

Poverty, and specifically child poverty, is dominating the headlines at the moment with Marcus Rashford campaigning vigorously to make sure that all children receive meals throughout half-term and in the Christmas holidays.

At Mobile Mini, we believe that now, more than ever, is the time to step up as a business - and as a family - to do what we can to help local foodbanks in the communities we serve deal with the unprecedented demand they will face this winter.

We are a company that prides ourselves on the work we do within the community, and our community has never needed us as much as it does now.

Each of our branches, spread throughout the UK, have a container that they will be filling with donations for a local foodbank. Details of all our locations can be found here: https://www.mobilemini.co.uk/locations/

If you cannot get to a branch, or there is not one nearby, all financial donations received will be split evenly between the chosen foodbanks.
