This Christmas we will be raising money to help us buy food that people would otherwise be without.

13 million people live below the poverty line in the UK, and we are raising money for a fantastic local charity that work with over 400 local foodbanks to provide emergency food to a whole range of people who are in desperate need.

Some items that foodbanks are in desperate need of are: tea and coffee, tins of meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, longlife milk and juice, baked beans, biscuits and chocolate. A tin of beans costs as little as 30p, so any donation however small will really help.

We know that together we will be able to raise lots of money to try help as many as people as possible at this challenging time.
