My friend was living in an abusal relationship for years and she was brave enoguh to break up with him before she has started medical university. She had a new friend, who helped her to find a part-time job by asking his best friend to hire her. She worked there, and her friend raped her one day after her shift. As she was brave enough to go to the police, she had to stop working there. By this time, she had a boyfriend, and he broke with my friend soon after this accident because of another woman. While she was suffering from losing her love and trying to survive that trauma, her father decided to end every kind of communication with her, as his new family asked. She was fighting, studied hard, worked part-time to save some money to be able to travel her home country for the spring break. Fortunately, she had some nice days at her home before she realized one of her friends has died. She became more depressed and even tried to commit a suicide but fortunately it wasn't successful and after I encouraged her, she asked help. Now, she's on antidepressants. But now, I'm worrying about her, as she has to move out from the university accomodation, she lost her part-time job and has no money to find a place to stay. Her mother is depressed, my friend just realized her mother has suicidal thoughts too and there is a risk to lose their home because of her father. She is desperately looking for work, but as she is a student without any qualifications and obviously has mental health issues, it's not easy to find one. I would like to help her, but I have a low income and she can't stay in my accommodation (I live in a shared house) as my landlord strictly not allowed it. I'm worrying if she will be homeless she will lose all the hope after this extremely hard year and she will give up to fight for herself.
