Hi, i'm Claire i'm Alison's daughter,

For those of you that know my mum Alison can i firstly say that as a family we are deeply thankful for the support you have shown to us all in these past 9 months since Mum's diagnosis of breast cancer in December of last year, and it was only a few weeks ago that our Mama Bear rang the Bell to mark the end of her chemo and we celebrated her strength and success at beating Cancer!

On Wednesday 16th august our world turned upside down. My mum was admitted to hospital with symptoms that we suspected was her vertigo playing up again. On Friday 18th August our world was shattered as we were told that the Cancer growth had accelerated around Mums body and up into her brain, Yesterday (22 august) we were told that the Cancer is so aggressive that...

that it would take her from us in a very short amount of time, It is an extremely hard time for us all at the moment but Mama Bear is being as strong-willed and determined as ever and is going to enjoy, cherish and spend each day fulfilling dreams and making memories!

A big congratulations is in order as my mum Alison and Bryan are to be wedd!!!... yes you read that correctly Alison Lowndes & Bryan Sykes shall be wedd on Monday 28th August!!! The day will be a celebration of the time they've enjoyed together and the love that they devotedly share for each other!

We have set up a just giving page to help us to give Mama Bear the best day of her life and to support our mum in fulfilling her bucket list and to help aide medical adaptations around the home, funds raised will also be used to help support us as a family financially through this tough time ahead,

This is the hardest thing i have ever had to write but again i'd like to thank everyone for their support over the past year, we are forever grateful,
