Elie and I are going to ride from London to Cognac - from 5th to 8th Sept averaging 150km per day.... This sounded like an amazing idea back at the start of the year... this week, not so much! Neither of us have done enough training and we are both seriously concerned that we will be able to do it! So we wanted an inspiring cause to keep our arses in the saddle and motivate us to finish!

We chose the awesome Ride for Charlie as I would love to be able to support the Craig family in their quest to do something brilliant and inspiring in honor of their son Charlie who died in his sleep in January last year. Go look at the page to learn more about what a brilliant kid Charlie was and the hole he has left in the lives of his family and community - and also the huge and positive impact he had on the cycling community.

I personally owe the Craig family a debt of gratitude as Nick and Sarah - and their very young sons at the time Tom and Charlie - provided my brother with support and friendship when he was serving his ban and living in Hayfield - and Elie has kindly said she is happy to raise money for the cause too :)

They are a lovely family and what they are doing to carry on Charlie's legacy is incredibly inspiring - so please, sponsor us so we can help them raise money to help kids in their development in cycling - and give us a reason not to climb into the broom wagon!!
