Story
This summer I'll be heading to the Kanguna district of Uganda to work with local teachers and Volunteer Uganda to provide education to primary school children. With 50% of the population under 16 years old with only 13% progressing to secondary school, primary school education is incredibly important! Volunteer Uganda provides incredible support for the overstretched teachers in Kanguna and I can't wait to be a part of it! The money raised will pay for my travel, food and accommodation as well as the growth and development of projects within the schools and local communities.
