Throughout the pandemic both charities and sports clubs have suffered with the loss of fundraising and income. Crohns and Colitis UK are a charity close to the clubs heart with several members suffering from this horrible condition. C&C UK have, and continue to support all and do an amazing job both locally and across the UK.
Fairford RFC is at the centre of life within the local community and continue to support local and national charities as much as possible. Over the years the club has grown and now has men women and children representing the town. The lockdown has hit the club hard with no income, but still with outgoings, for over 12 months.
We will be holding 2 events, both of which will be tough!!

3rd July 21 - a 12 hour none stop rugby match. 2 squads of 20 will play continuously throughout the 12 hours with only a 5 minute break each hour for water and toilet stops.

We currently have 65 members who will be running a children's 1 mile, 10km, half marathon or full marathon on 23 July 21. We will also have competitors cycling 50,75 or 100 miles on the same day. This will be tough and the training has already begun to make sure we are ready to smash our goals.

Any support, sponsorship or assistance will be greatly appreciated by both C&C UK and FRFC who will evenly split any monies raised.
