Friends of Ukraine EOD is an undertaking, whereby like minded people, including those with a background in Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA), Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), and Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) risk management, join together to assist the ERW risk mitigation efforts on the ground inside Ukraine. We ask those with the right background to volunteer their services; for those that have stock to provide specialist equipment; and we are looking for funding to support our goals. ‘Friends of Ukraine EOD’ will provide specialist assistance to enable the rescue services in Ukraine to deal with unexploded ordnance; either those items that have been fired, dropped, or placed and which have failed to function (including securing abandoned ammunition stockpiles), and require dealing with by personnel with the correct training and equipment.
