‘’Tortellini Team ‘’

We would like to start with introducing our self’s. Myself, Bartek and Alberto have met in La Taverna restaurant where we are working together and simply became friends. Last year Bartek went through massive lifestyle transformation and he have decided to run Half Marathon in Aviemore. As we could not be more proud of Bartek’s achievement, myself and Alberto have decided to support him and run together with him. It was really beautiful experience which brought us even closer, that’s why we would like to try and do it again but this time run our First Full Marathon in Stirling at the end of this month.

Running marathon it’s a fight with yourself for a 26miles, that’s why we would like this run be as meaningful as possible and try and make a difference even if it’s small. As nothing its more important than kids welfare and wellbeing that’s why we would like to raise money and help children likely to grow in disadvantaged because of the different development in their area.

We have decided to dedicate this run to Charity which is close to Alberto’s Heart. Two years ago Alberto went to Nepal to do volunteering job in orphanage, where he met amazing people and learned how import is help for kids in this area. We have decided that any money raised will be donated to ‘’Friuli Mandi Nepal Namaste Onlus’’. This charity was created to help kids with basic needs from clothes, school equipment, toys and food but also did some projects on building orphanages and schools as well.

"Tortellini team"

Cominciamo presentandoci. Io, bartek e Nuanda ci siamo incontrati al ristorante "la Taverna" dove abbiamo coltivato la nostra amicizia lavorando assieme. L'anno scorso Bartek ha attraversato un radicale cambiamento nel suo stile di vita e per segnare la svolta si è iscritto alla mezza maratona di Aviemore. Non potevamo essere più felici per il suo incredibile traguardo così abbiamo deciso, io e Nuanda, di supportarlo attivamente partecipando alla corsa insieme a lui. È stata un'esperienza magica che ci ha avvicinati molto, ecco perché abbiamo deciso di provare di nuovo a correre insieme e questa volta per la nostra prima full marathon a Stirling alla fine di questo mese.

Correre una maratona è una sfida con te stesso per 42 kilometri e ci piacerebbe renderla il più significativa possibile, cercando di fare la differenza anche se solo nel nostro piccolo.
Considerando che per noi niente è più importante della salute e del benessere dei bambini il nostro obiettivo è raccogliere fondi per provare a migliorare alcune condizioni di vita in casi in cui L'ambiente in cui crescono non è ideale.

Abbiamo dunque deciso di dedicare la nostra corsa ad un'associazione Onlus particolarmente cara a Nuanda. Due anni fa egli a servito come volontario in un orfanotrofio nepalese dove ha incontrato e conosciuto persone splendide che gli hanno insegnato quanto possa essere importante anche solo un minimo aiuto in queste circostanze.
Abbiamo quindi deciso di donare ogni penny raccolto all'associazione "Friuli Mandi Nepal Namasté" Onlus. La nostra raccolta fondi mira dunque a coprire bisogni primari come vestiti, materiale scolastico, cibo ma anche progetti per costruire edifici come scuole e orfanotrofi.

Chcielibyśmy zaczac naszą historie od przedstawienia się. Ja, Bartek i Alberto poznalśmy się w La Tavernie, jest to retauraca w ktorej razem pracujemy i z biegem czasu zaprzyjaznilismy się. W zeszlym roku Bartek przeszedł przez ogromna transformacje swojego stylu życia i postanowil przebiec pół maraton w Aviemore. Byliśmy bardzo dumni z Bartka osiagnieć i postanowiliśmy wesprzeć go i przebiec pół maraton razem z nim. To było piękne i niesamowite doświadczenie i dlatego postanowiliśmy w tym roku przebiec nasz pierwszy cały Maraton w Stirling, który odbędzie sie na koniec tego miesiąca.

Trening i przygotowanie do Maratonu jest bardzo cieżki, a sam maraton to walka z samym soba przez 42 kilomtery. Dlatego chcielibyśmy żeby ukończenie tego Maratonu miało jak najwieksze znaczenie dla nas i chcielibysmy zeby to pogoło komuś nawet jezeli to bedzie mała pomoc. Nic nie jest ważniejsze na świecie jak dzieci i ich bezpieczenństwo i dobrobyt. Dlatego chcilibysmy uzbierac pieniażki na dzici, które dorastają w rejonie, gdzie bezpieczeństwo i dobrobyt społeczny jest czesto ignorowany.

Chcielibyśmy zadetykowac ten Maraton organizacji która jest blika Alberta sercu. Dwa lata temu Alberto wyjchał do Neapolu jako wolontariusz w domu dziecka, gdzie poznał wspaniałych ludzi i dlatego wie jak bardzo potrzbna jest pomoc dla dzieci w tym rejonie. Wszytskie pieniażki uzbierane będą przekazane ‘’Friuli Mandi Nepal Namaste Onlus’’. Ta organizacje zajmuje się podstawową pomoca dla osieroconaych dzieci jak kupnem ubrań, przyborów szkolnych, zabawek, jedzenia a także wiekszym projektem jak budowaniem domów i szkół.
