Hurricane Matthew made a direct hit on the island of Grand Bahama where our Field Support Centre is located. Many homes and businesses were destroyed, and the island is still without power and internet service. Emergency rations are being delivered daily. All the girls survived, and our office is still standing, so we are thankful for that! Courtney, our IBA specialist, was rushed to the hospital immediately after the hurricane, where they had to perform an emergency appendectomy under generator power. A complete recovery is expected. Again, we are thankful!

Some of you may remember Renique from this year's convention. She is one of our managers, and our most senior employee who fared the worst. Her whole house was utterly destroyed. She has lost everything. Everything except the clothes she had on her back. And yet, she was still willing to come to Pennsylvania for 10 days, along with 3 of the other girls, to keep the Field Support Centre up and running. How many employees are that dedicated?!
We, the family of Genistar, would like to help her rebuild her house! Any and all donations we receive here will be given directly to Renique for rebuilding and replenishing her household.
