On the 9th of April, I will be shaving my hair to raise money to fund my girlfriend's treatment for an inoperable grade 4 brain tumour.

My girlfriend, Charlotte Taylor, has recently been diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma - a rare and inoperable brain tumour.

Many measures, including a black tie dinner evening, sponsored runs, and a live music event organised by Holly, Charlotte's sister, are being taken to raise money to fund treatment available abroad for Charlotte. These treatments include immunotherapy and Tumour Treating Fields (TTF).

After her initial diagnosis, being informed that chemotherapy would be the likely course of action, I promised Charlotte that I'd shave off my hair when her's began to fall out.

I shall be keeping this promise, and in doing so, I aim to raise money to help fund Charlotte's treatment.

All contributions are greatly appreciated. Over £20,000 has been raised so far thanks to the generosity of 835 wonderful people, a tremendous figure that we'd never expected to reach.

It is my hope to raise £1,000 to add to this number, moving us one step closer to taking Charlotte abroad to seek treatment.
