Story
Maddison Crockford-Reid is 9years old and has a rare condition called Sanfilippo Syndrome, there is NO cure for this.
Sanfilippo Syndrome is a is a rare conditon that affects just one in 70,000 people and Maddi has a variant that just four per cent of those people have. It means she is missing an enzyme that would break down sugar molecules for the body to dispose of them. These are retained in the body causing progressive cell damage.
