As of today, we can arrange Brian's funeral. We have the money to do so, and Police Scotland will work to our timetable, there is no mad rush. Is there anyone in Glasgow who could volunteer to pick up his death certificate from Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, and register his death at the Registrar's office in John Street? update 12 October 2017: We have made the target. Huge thanks to everyone who has contributed to this fund - it is really touching to see how many people thought to do so. Every bit made the difference, whether small or big, and it is lovely to see how many of us cared for him out there. We can't organise the funeral until Police Scotland release his body. The police know we'll run the funeral arrangements then. I will keep this funding page open in case anyone else still wants to add in anything, it will all be spent only on the funeral.
