This is a really difficult post for me to write.

Whilst I was away at work I had a message from my brother. A girl he was seeing briefly was having his child, she went into labour at 29 weeks and had a boy.

She was at home when she went into labour and had him in the bathroom and let the him fall to the floor deliberately on his head. Someone has cut the cord and then they left him in the bathroom.

The mother and baby were taken to hospital in separate ambulances at the mothers request.

After getting checked over the mother discharged herself from the hospital leaving the baby, who sadly passed away 3 hours later. This is now a police matter and will be going to court etc we just don't know what she's being charged with as yet.

I have been to the chapel of the rest to see my nephew and I'm absolutely heartbroken to see him. He weighed 2lb 2oz.

My brother wants to give his son the funeral he deserves even if he did only live a very short life. Sadly, he doesn't have the finances to fund this in full so i have offered to help him raise the money and am hoping people are able to either generously donate or help us by sharing this fundraising campaign far and wide.

The worst thing that could happen is for this poor child who had no chance in life to be forgotten. Even though it was only for three hours, he did live and we would like to be able to honour his short life in the best way possible.
