Story
We provide whatever support we can to refugees both before they arrive in this country and afterwards, by collecting cash donations and donations of clothing and equipment. Other practical support and befriending is provided once refugees arrive in Furness, in cooperation with other statutory and support organisations.
We also suppirt asylum seekers settled temporarily in our area.
Dave Wood was a founder member of our group and it was a cause very dear to his heart. He was very much the organisation’s driving force.

Here's to commemorate an amazing person. Although I didn't know her for long, she was kind, warm, down to earth and wise. I am so glad I met her again after many years and before she died. God bless.
