Story
My name is Gary Hooker I am 62 years old and I was diagnosed with incurable metastatic prostate cancer in 2011 and thanks to the amazing treatment at guys cancer centre am still enjoying life today. I am taking part in the first oncology olympics on 24th June 2018 in Rome to raise money and show my support for guys cancer centre so that they can carry on their work and help other people in the way they have helped me.
Their work has allowed me to spend more time than thought possible with my wonderful family and two amazing grandsons.
All those taking part are cancer sufferers receiving treatment and I would appreciate your support for team United Kingdom at these games.

Didn't think that was realistic when I started but I didn't anticipate the fantastic people around me, be it family, friends, acquaintances and people that don't really know me. I'm proud to be involved in the games and your help is spurring me on. 3 days to go!!!!
