Gateway 4 Women supports domestic violence victims, those undergoing drug and alcohol rehabilitation, people with mental health problems and other vulnerable groups.

The project has been set up by Cumbria Gateway and is based at the former Mitchell Dryers premises in Denton Holme.

Cumbria Gateway has been a part of my mums life for 7 years and the women centre recently opened in October 2017. She works there as a support worker/Peer mentor to all the ladies who come in.

This place has impacted many lives and i’ve witnessed it first hand as it has helped my mum in many ways and she would like to continue to support as many people as possible.

My mum, my close friend and a few others and I are wanting to abseil down the civic centre on 12th May 2018, to help raise momey for gateway 4 women.
