Since the outbreak of Covid-19 we have provided nearly 3000 parcels of food.

This requires a huge effort from all our volunteers. We spend about £1000 per month on fresh food.

The ongoing support of our local community has been wonderful, and on behalf of all our clients, many thanks indeed.

The local community including businesses and the BGH have been amazingly generous in supporting the Galashiels and Area Foodbank. To date you have donated £3,951, a truly magnificent sum. This is so helpful to fund our ongoing expenses, almost entirely the purchase of fresh food. We know our clients value the service highly, and with your support we will do our best to continue with this voluntary work.
