Story
We are currently in the process of raising funds to take our entire under 16s team, 25 boys in all, on an organised rugby tour to Spain. It’s been a great 2016 season for the boys, they really are a great bunch of young men, with half of the boys playing rugby together since the age of 7, and this tour will be something that will stay with them forever. Our target is to raise enough funds to pay for all 27 lads, including all flights and accommodation, 4 days on tour and a tour rugby kit package. The cost of the entire package is just over £8’000. The lads have raised £1000 themselves getting individual sponsorship. We have also raised money with cake stalls at local events and have several things planned such as bag packs at local supermarkets, an evening of entertainment with an auction and car washing days over the summer. In total so far we have raised in excess off £1500.
This is a trip of a lifetime for these young lads, and everything we can do to reduce the costs is a massive help, and truly appreciated by all concerned.
There will be regular updates via Facebook.
All donations received will go directly tot he tour funds to cover costs for travel, playing kit, accommodation, bus transfers, food, excursions etc etc
