Weʼve raised £3,665 to Help Bristol Army Cadet Force to raise funds for flights costs lost due to Monarch Airline going bust.

Story
Bristol ACF has, during the last 18 months , planned an adventure training trip for the cadets to Cyprus to take part in Mountain Biking. The cadets are aged between 14 & 17 and for some this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity as some of the cadets are from very disadvantaged backgrounds. The trip had been planned booked and paid for using funds raised by the cadets themselves, this was achieved through bag packing and sponsorship events. With the collapse of Monarch airlines we now lost all of our flights and he money associated with them, to this end we have been loaned the money to replace the flights and we are now duty bound to honour our debts.
The young people of Bristol ACF thank you in advance for any help received.

7 years agoAll we have been overwhelmed by the support shown, the original target was met within days and we are so grateful, however this only went some of the way to cover the additional costs incurred, therefore we have raised the target and hope that the generosity continues. Thanks again Gary and the team

7 years agoAll, Thank you for the fantastic donations to date. Whilst we set up a target of £3,000 this only goes a part way to covering the additional costs we have incurred. We have planned more fundraising events on our return, however with your generosity we can reduce the burden on the young people on their return. Please keep giving many thanks Gary and the team.
