On 26th May we will be doing the National Three Peak Challenge attempting to completing it in under 24 hours.

Sophie, aged 11 from Basingstoke was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Sophie has to inject at least 4 times a day and has to continuously monitor her blood sugar levels. We want to raise money to help find a cure and to help support families who are having to come to terms with this life changing condition.

We are organising this charity event to raise money for 2 important diabetes charities. The first a local charity called Hampshire Paediatric Diabetes Group. They support young people with Type 1 Diabetes and their families & carers in North Hampshire. Every year they organise a residential trip for the children who have type 1 diabetes. You’ll know that Type 1 diabetes is not simple thing to live with. The trip gives the children who affected by Type 1 the chance to meet up, make friends, share experiences and learn from each other. The money we raise will go towards subsidising the cost of this trip.

The second charity is a charity dedicated to finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
