We are a group of twenty, 6th year pupils and three staff members from Calderglen School who are raising money to visit our partner school, Mountview High, in Cape Town, South Africa in February 2019 to work with the children in the school. I will benefit by getting a better understanding of the value of education while engaging with children who are from a less fortunate community and reaping the reward of satisfaction of helping others.

We have been tasked with raising £1500 each. This will go towards the travel costs , help to pay some of their school fees and hopefully take some of the children to local attractions that they would not normally get the opportunity to do. We will also be taking school supplies to improve their learning environment.

Basically, the more that we can raise, the more that we can do. So I will be kicking off my fundraising by taking part in the 10K 'Run the Blades' on 20 July and would be grateful if you could sponsor me and share my page.
