What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

Luge is the fastest sport on ice. Our athletes hit speeds up to 90mph and forces in excess of 5G as they drive through the twists and turns of the track, just inches above the ice.

The GB Luge Team receive no central funding from the lottery or the government and operate on around 1% of the budget of other sports in the UK. We need your help to keep our athletes representing GB at the highest level. We had 2 athletes at PyeongChang, competing against all the odds. Only with your help we can afford new equipment and training to become truly competitive and battle for medals at the next Olympics.

Thank you for your support,

AJ, Rupert, Dani, Ray, Elsa, Danny, Mark, Lucas, Luke and Gav
