Story

As part of Police Scotland G Division Welfare Group we feel it would be appropriate to show our support to the family and our colleagues in the United States by collecting a donation for the US security service agent Nole Remagen who sadly passed away whilst working on our shores during the visit of Donald Trump. The 42 year husband and father of two young children died after suffering a stroke whilst on duty during the president’s trip to Scotland. With 23,000 employees alone a small donation by everyone would add up significantly. Thank you.

If anyone who has already donated to the family and doesn’t want their money going towards the memorial please contact me via email. A donations page has already been set up for the family at gofundme by someone else if people would prefer to donate to the family direct but we felt as a group this would be a more personal touch from Police Scotland.

Just a quick update with more to follow. We have been approached by the Police Scotland Roll of Honour Trust wiith regards using the money raised for a memorial for Nole Remagen possibly at Turnberry. They would give us their full support, donations and also help us to organise things.
