So next Friday 6th April me and the Millennium Falcon set off on a, hopefully, successful 275km race across England. It is a solo, non-stop, unsupported race, starting 11pm on Friday evening at Morecambe pier, racing across the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and finishing Saturday at Scarborough Harbour. The winner in 2017 completed the race in 18 hours and 3 minutes, I'd love to finish it in under 15 hours, which would see me arriving at the finish line before 2pm on Saturday afternoon (#DreamOn!). It’s my first attempt at cycling this distance and my 1st race of any kind, so I’m nervous and excited in almost equal measure! My motto ‘You don’t go to the start line because you’re ready; you go because it’s time’
