Our small village school, Breage c of e, holds approx 80 pupils & space is tight. Our pre school, Bright Sparks, is currently using a classroom of the schools, leaving the building cramped with little room for any growth.

I want to help raise funds for a new build (on school grounds) to accommodate the pre school, & allow for more community projects. Bright Sparks are applying for a grant to fund the build but it is essential that we find a way to raise a percentage ourselves in order for the funds to be granted.

That is where I come in. Just 6 months after giving birth to my eldest son (pictured above), I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Life with a chronic illness & 2 children has been difficult/tiring/and a struggle but with the support & love of these two, I have found the strength to continue the fight. With the determination to fight, the love for my children & the passion to help improve their future I will be running the Eden Project Marathon on 14th October this year to help raise funds towards this community project.

I believe that, with enough passion & help, a brand new Bright Sparks can be achieved. With thanks in advance, oh & please wish me luck!
