Hi , My name is George Lythe and I am 15 years old and go to Audenshaw school. I have spent the last 2 years training and competing with other athletes to try and secure a place in the Great Britain team competing in the underwater hockey world championships in hobart,Australia in July 2017 ( yes underwater hockey is a sport..lol...that's the question I get asked most when I tell people what I do).
The hours of swimming and gym work have been really hard but has paid off as I have recently found out I have made the team...Yay... I was so happy and proud to make the team and have the chance to represent Great Britain and hopefully bring a medal home.. The hard work now continues as I have to stick to a strict training and nutrition plan so i am at peak fitness and condition when the competition starts on July 9th 2017.
I have also got to try and fund my fees/flights/accomodation for the 14 day competition in Oz as this sport is not currently funded by UK sport.

I really appreciate anything you could donate no matter how small to help me reach my target and give me the opportunity to try and bring home a medal for Team GB........
