In the early hours, on 23rd February 2021, Ex Firefighter George Rudd passed away, peacefully in his sleep. George was forced to leave the Fire service, due to ill health, a few years ago. George served at Egham Fire Station on Green watch, for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.

George was a kind, dedicated, proud and professional man. He loved his time in the service, with a keen passion for football, his team being Norwich City. He loved his family and friends and constantly spoke about them.

When a firefighter is taken too soon, the fire community nationally, come together and support one another.

We are looking to raise enough money, to help support his family, and remove the financial burden, through this very difficult time.
