In November a friend and I are travelling to Cape Town, South Africa to volunteer in a community project. We will be helping children of all ages and needs learn basic skills to carry through their life in order to improve their quality of life as well as enhance their likelihood of being employed post education.

I have chosen to take part in this community project as I visited a Township in Cape Town last summer on Sports Tour and I saw with my own eyes the conditions this community live in and the limited resources the children have in some schools. By taking part in this project I hope to make a difference and aid the improvement of the lives of the people within this community.

I have set up this JustGiving page to donate the raised funds to the school I will be volunteering in. Whether it will be towards new pencils pens and paper, or a contribution to a new classroom or playground I know that any donation big or small will be hugely appreciated by myself and the school.
