We want to share the story of Georgina, Summer Smith, and their family — a story of love, courage and resilience in the face of unimaginable heartbreak.

After the devastating loss of her husband, Georgina moved to France with her family in the hope of beginning a new chapter together. But not long after arriving, tragedy struck again when their beloved father and grandfather suddenly passed away from a heart attack, leaving a space in their lives that can never truly be filled.

Then in July, Georgina fractured a vertebra — something that led to the life-changing discovery that she has Multiple Myeloma, a rare and serious blood cancer. Since that moment, she has been facing an incredibly difficult and ongoing battle with remarkable strength and courage.

Soon after, the family faced another unimaginable blow. Summer, one of the twins, was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer — ocular medulloepithelioma with extrascleral extension. Because her cancer is so rare, there isn’t a clear treatment pathway to follow. She has already endured intensive treatment and the heartbreaking removal of her eye and eyelid — something no child should ever have to face 💔

Despite everything life has placed in their path, Georgina and Summer continue to show extraordinary bravery, love and determination every single day. Their strength is truly inspiring — but the road ahead is still long and incredibly challenging.
