Gerry here, I am a 6th year pupil at St. Andrew's Academy, Paisley and have been successful in applying for a place on the school's Uganda Project.

Following the success of the Uganda project in 2009-17, St. Andrew's Academy, is committed to maintaining links with the Blessed Comboni Secondary school in the Hoima District of Uganda, and in June I will be travelling to the area to support construction workers in the building of an educational facility within the community.

The total cost of the project is £55,000 and I have committed to fundraising a target for myself of £2200. I have already organised several events to support this target, but now I am appealing for further support, no matter how small, to help me achieve this target.

This is an opportunity, not only for myself to wider my experience in the world, but also to support the long term educational opportunities for the children, much less privileged than myself, in the Hoima District of Uganda.
